Role: Delicatessen manager
Location: Based at 1176, Cardigan Castle
Salary: £ Negotiable
Deli Manager Job Purpose:
Work alongside the proprietor and business manager to manage the daily operations of the Deli.
Manager Job Duties:
- Take responsibility for the business performance of the Delicatessen
- Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control and sales
- Coordinate the operation of the Delicatessen with the Cafe ensuring that staff are working as a team
- Train, manage and motivate staff
- Respond to customer queries & complaints
- Greet & serve customers, offer advice about all food and drink we sell
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, & health & safety
- Check stock levels, order supplies & prepare cash drawers & petty cash
- Comply with licensing laws & other legal requirements
- Maintain a strong social media presence for the business
Deli Manager Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a manager within retail & or other food & beverage service environments
- Extensive food & beverage knowledge, including barista skills
- Welsh speaking highly desirable

- Cydlynu gweithrediad y Delicatessen gyda’r Caffi gan sicrhau bod staff yn gweithio fel tîm
- Hyfforddi, rheoli ac ysgogi staff
- Ymateb i ymholiadau a chwynion cwsmeriaid
- Cyfarch a gweini cwsmeriaid, cynnig cyngor am yr holl fwyd a diod rydym ni’n eu gwerthu
- Cynnal safonau uchel o ran rheoli ansawdd, hylendid ac iechyd a diogelwch
- Gwirio lefelau stoc, archebu cyflenwadau a pharatoi droriau arian parod ac arian mân
- Cydymffurfio â chyfreithiau trwyddedu a gofynion cyfreithiol eraill
- Cynnal presenoldeb cryf i’r busnes ar y cyfryngau cymdeithasol
