New restaurant experience for Cardigan Castle

Restaurant 1176 located on the ancient foundations of Cardigan Castle, Tom Holden has settled into his new venture.

Tom and his team offer delicious breakfasts, traditional daytime café menu, stylish afternoon teas and popular Sunday lunch offerings, opening daily 10am – 4pm. Tom is passionate about providing the best and has launched a new fine dining experience on Friday and Saturday evenings. Booking is advisable 01239 562 002

Part of Tom’s plan is to create inspirational menus with ingredients straight from the Castle’s kitchen garden. Tom grew up on an organic farm near Lampeter.

I’m really excited about this challenge. I will be working closely with Castle gardener to make sure we use the best seasonal ingredients the garden has to offer.

The menu changes each week and it will be available on this page along with photos of the latest dishes. Please call Tom if you’d like to book the restaurant during the evening for a private function.
