Our restaurant Holdens@The Gwarcefel Arms is in Prengwyn near Llandysul, Ceredigion.

We serve food on Wednesday,  Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings between 6pm and 9pm, as well as Sunday lunches between 12pm and 3pm. Food can be served either in the bar or the restaurant, take a look at our full menu.

Led by Tom Holden with our very own Tom Barber as Head Chef, Holdens has a focus using the best of local and seasonal produce from our fantastic local food suppliers, growers and producers. Tom heads up the cooking side, serving a non pretentious menu of modern British cooking.

Chicken parfait, onion confit
Panfried Newquay mackerel fillets, split pea summer salad Seasonal soup, toasted garlic croutons
Seared squid rings with lemon & Aioli

10 hour crispy belly pork, sticky red cabbage & apple Mediterranean spiced Lamb rump, hummus & grilled courgette

Chicken breast, wrapped in pancetta topped with spinach & ricotta

Roasted cod fillet, gremolata , green beans & white wine sauce Mushroom & fine herb Pearl barley risotto

Creme Brûlée & sable biscuit
70% Dark chocolate tart, vanilla ice-cream Fresh fruit, Italian meringue pavlova
Sticky Date pudding, honeycomb & vanilla ice-cream
